Amys Cottage is a one bedroom original stone cottage lovingly restored to provide a luxury getaway that you will not want to leave. Located at Clydesdale, Amys Cottage is ideally located 15 minutes from Daylesford, Maldon and Castelmaine, 40 minutes to Ballarat or Bendigo and just over an hour from Melbourne.

The area north of Daylesford was settled by Swiss / Italians in the 1850's, Amys Cottage was built around 1850 and is one of the earliest buildings in Victoria. Made of solid stone quarried in the area it consists of one bedroom, a lounge room / dining area and kitchen. The house has been beautifully restored and now features a comfortable modern bathroom with shower and bath.

Located on a hill above Jim Crow Creek the cottage provides wonderful views of the valley but affords the utmost privacy at the same time.
 You can enjoy the views from the verandah while deciding upon the many delights Amy's has to offer.

The bedroom opens onto a large verandah and has stunning views particularly in the morning and evening.  A comfy King Size bed for the perfect nights sleep and the warmth and intimacy only an open fire can give.

Enjoy the beauty and solitude of your own private twelve acres. Take a stroll to Jim Crow Creek  and maybe catch a trout or witness a platypus at play. The cottage has its own creek frontage, if you tread quietly you may see other wildlife such as echidnas, kangaroos and wallabies, not to mention the beautiful local birdlife. Relax at the end of the day in the outdoor spa and watch a spectacular sunset while enjoying a glass of wine.
